I tend to not order dessert at most meals but I remember folks talking about SH71 and how good it is, so I decided to splurge. And it was really good, I highly recommend

Haha I thought I would come by and catch up and realized I never posted at all during our stay last month!

We were only there for 4 days, which honestly, wasn’t enough. We drove there from Sarasota. We enjoyed ourselves of course!

The animals were pretty active, but I did not pull out my phone during the safari. We were excited to see two cheetah’s actually moving, and all three lions on the rock awake and alert! The cooler morning made this possible I believe. Thrilled to see all of the gorillas and the tigers! The cub and mama were giving us a show and being very playful!

Also, we saw 38 Special and they were actually pretty good!

Sept keeps the Epcot/Monday, MK/Weds schedule - they wait til Oct to move to the HS/AK Weds events…but ya never know - this year could be different.

The dates I was referring to were last year. The extra evening hours moved from the MK to DHS on Wednesday 9/25/24. The first week I was there, it was at the MK on 9/18/24, it was the last extra evening hours at the MK for the Halloween season.

Hi! I’m reading about your terrific WDW trip! I haven’t been on this thread in quite awhile. I’m going to do better. I certainly agree about the Treasure, as well!

Hello groupies! We'll be back at WDW this October. First time staying at the CCV cabins, can't wait!

What did you think of Topolino’s breakfast? I hear it’s good but is it really $50+ good?

It’s just hard for me sometimes to justify paying so much for Disney food - especially breakfast - I can get a Seniors breakfast at IHop (which I love) for less than ten bucks! Guess I’m cheap

I'm glad you asked that question because I've been wondering the same thing. Lunch and dinner I don't mind paying more but breakfast...we hardly have breakfast on property because we can't justify it, and it is hard to do so! I don't mind splurging when the menu intrigues me, otherwise I'll save my money for something else.

I feel like I’m splurging while here and we save our money at home for the most part just to really enjoy ourselves at WDW. Other than saving for retirement wdw is where we spend our money

agree with all of that!! Well said! We also save our money at home not eating out as much (especially the past 2 years things gotten so expensive!), so we wouldn't have to "watch" our money as tightly when we go on vacation. It justify our splurging for sure!

Speaking of breakfast, I actually just remembered now that on our next trip, we want to try the Four Seasons breakfast buffet w/ Goofy and his pals. It's $56 but food is more elevated and I heard great things about it. Anyone tried it?

Hey WD - I’ll be at WDW Nov 29 - Dec 8 - I’m definitely onboard for a Dec Groupie meetup!

So far, we have BWV from December 7-12. On the 12th, we are going on the Fantasy. We may be able to add on to the beginning, it depends on 7 month availability!

I am 8 weeks from my HIPEC surgery and since 5 days ago, I have been seeing improvements in how I feel and in what I am able to do.

While you don't see me here very often, I think about all of you wonderful people!

I'm seriously going to try to convince Mr Muush that a Disney visit should happen in 2026, hopefully in December. So I'll be watching these boards for who all will be going then.
And Granny, I have yet to meet you. Fingers crossed I will see you then!

You probably remember that we turned into cruisers. We will have to do a short one in 2026 to allow time for WDW. In a way we are a little afraid because of all of the changes. When (hopefully) we go in 2026, it will have been 10 years. Looooooong time!

We too love cruising! Just went on the Treasure and absolutely loved it, and just earned Gold status too!
We are planning to go to DL in Oct 2026 so not likely we will be at WDW in Dec 2026 but I sure hope and feel like some other Groupies will be there.

So the cruising bug bit you too. It's great, isn't it? Treasure must be a new DCL ship, yes?
We are trying a new cruise line this Nov, Azamara. Small ships, 684 passengers if you can believe that. We'll see.
I think we are geographically closer to you now, we moved to Sanford.
Any meets coming up in NC?
