VWL Experts Needed

I've rented points and will be staying in a 1 bedroom villa at the WL next month. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should request as far as location? I would like to have a balcony. Do all the 1 bedrooms have a balcony? How about the view? I assume that they are all woods view, but is one view better than another. I also would appreciate any other tips about staying at the villas as this will be our maiden voyage. Thanks.

I had always heard that all of the views were "woods" but when we went in December we had a gorgeous view of the quiet pool with the woods and then the lake behind it. I did not request it, just got lucky. We were in a 2 bedroom on the 4th floor. I generally always like the higher up floors. Not sure about the balcony question?? I mostly just request "NO SMOKING" and let the rest fall to fate.......

I posed this same question about a year ago when DH and I stayed in a 1BR there. Some people had suggested to request a room facing the lagoon on a high floor so we did. WOW! We had woods, quiet pool and the lagoon outside our balcony (I think all rooms do have balconies). We could see the electric pageant at night on the water too. I actually dread going again in case I DIDN'T get that view...we got spoiled. It was very nice.
