VWL best floors/area to request

This is my first time staying at VWL and I am not sure what to ask for on the reservation. I mostly stay at BWV or BCV. I was wondering if you can see the magic kingdom over the water or what view is nice and is it better to be on a lower floor ? do you get a good view on a higher floor. I might add that I don't really care for the balconies that are enclosed so is there a floor that has open rail balconies? Thank you for any input on this.

The fifth floor has the enclosed balcony. You can't see the Mk from the villas. Most of the rooms have wooded views. There is also the view of the pool. We have had both and they are both nice. We have been on the first floor and the third floor. We prefer to be on a higher floor. We go in Dec. and had Xmas lights open rail on the balcony last year. We usually only ask for non-smoking and pool view.

You can't see the MK from any VWL units that I know of. Some of the higher units facing the quite pool side will have a limited lake view.
I think the best views are those that either face the quite pool or the units that look out towards the bus stop. Ask for units close to the elevator with a quite pool view

Actually, I would think a view of the Magic Kingdom would spoil the themeing of the resort. The theme is Northwester lodge, and somehow a fantasy world doesn't fit that theme as well as woods and water.

If you are in an upper floor with a lake view you can see Wishes from the balcony! Beautiful!
Good luck getting the view you want though.

I just noticed you're from Brick. I lived on Cleveland Court in what was then Bricktown once upon a time! I still have friends on Hollycrest Drive!

yes it is bricktown...now known as brick...I live on the Herbertsville side of town.

Cleveland Ct is in Herbertsville! I left there in '72 but have many memories.My oldest daughter was born in Paul Kimball Hospital.
