VWL and WL Room Question

Myself, my husband and two children are staying at the VWL and my parents are staying at the Wilderness Lodge. Does anyone have suggestions for what would be the most convenient (closest walk to the villas) and the nicest view rooms? I am not sure how big the wilderness lodge is and I do not want my parents to have to walk very far to spend many evenings with us. Any suggestions?

Well, there's a pretty, covered walkway that leads from the VWL to the lobby of WL. I would guess this means the closest WL rooms would be the ones that are closest to the lobby. Someone else may have more specific advice.\

We just stayed there last week and had room 2148. This room was on the south wing on the same floor as the lobby. There is a little entrance to the hallway just across from the mercantile. Any rooms down that hallway would be very convenient to the VWL as well as to the buses. So, I would request 2nd floor, south wing. We had a very pretty view of the pool at VWL from our room. Also, getting to the main pool at WL was really easy too, as there were many doorways leading to the main courtyard down that hallway as well.

I would think anything in the south wing would be good, and the walk is beautiful.
