VWL and sending a package

does anyone know how to go about sending a special package to the VWL and having it put in our rooms on the first day of arrival? I know our room probably won't be ready when we check in (9:00am) but then we'll head off to a park. I'd like a CM to put the packages in our rooms so they'll be there when we get back. I'm sending my DDs 15 and 13 a bath basket for their showers after a long day in the parks. Any help is appreciated!
 
I would think that your best bet would be to ship it to the WL/VWL resort, marked to the attention of "GUEST: XXX, check-in date XX/XX/XX".

Then when you check in, you can inform the front desk (or maybe bell services would be better?) that you'd like the package to be delivered to your room when it becomes available.

It kind of sounds like a situation that's ripe for disappointment because it takes coordination between housekeeping, the front desk and bell services.

But then again, it's the kind of thing Disney seems to do very well.

Personally, I'd call the resort and ask their advice on how to handle.

We have sent a box down prior to our arrival. When I called about the proceedure I was told to make sure the outside of the box includes our name, check-in date and our reservation confirmation number. The package was ready and waiting when we arrived.
