VWL and Pools, incl. TL

Good Morning, I am checking into the VWL tom. We have never stayed here and are very excited.

Does anyone know how warm the main pool is at this time of year?

We are also going to Typhoon Lagoon on Sunday. Is the water there heated?

I believe that disney keeps it's pools and water parks at a comfortable 82 degrees. Last year they tried to lower the temps but there was alot of complaints, so I think it is back to the 82 degrees. Have a wonderful trip you will love the lodge. Take the paved path over to the campground it is a beautiful walk, and lots to do at the campground. Or you could rent bikes.

we are leaving next week. VWL jfor 2 nites before we check into bwv. Make sure you watch the water light parade. its great.

Where do we see the water parade from the villas? Is it the same time as the parade? We will be there tonight. Thanks for the tip!

Go to the beach area if you can, you can hear the music and see all of the floats.

In August, it went past WL area at 9:35. I would ask at check in to confirm the time.

From an upper floor we were able to peek thru the trees & see most of it last Dec.

Our air temp was cold, only ventured in pools twice. The Villas pool was warmer IMO, still a tad chilly for us. Did think the SAB pool in Oct (when it was in the 80's was cooler).

In June TL water temp was just fine

Hello, We went swimming yesterday afternoon and the main pool was very busy. It was warm, I'm guessing 80-82 degrees. We left at 4:45 and it was still very busy.

We actually were able to get 11 of us into whispering canyon w/out a ps , I have always wanted to go there! The 7 young boys had a blast! My husband went up to the kiosk at about 4:40 and put us on the list. We had a great time! We were seated at 5.

Tomorrow it is TL. Weather looks good!

Are there still a lot of pool hoppers for Fort Wilderness coming to VWL?

Pools were very comfortable last evening. We were there until 8:30 pm. The kiddy pool was perfect for my 21 month old son. We heard the fireworks and want to catch them tom. night. There is only one beach and it is fairly small, is this correct? This is where to see the fireworks and water parade? Thanks for all your help!
