vwl 2 bedroom 10 months?

how difficult is it to get a 2 bedroom at vwl during the presidents week next year? Is this something i am going to have to call day by day on?

I called day-by-day at 7 months for our 5 day Thursday before Pres. Day (2/15- arrive) to Tuesday (2/20 -depart) stay. I was reserving a 2 bedroom and had to waitlist for Monday. That one day waitlist came through about 2 months out. At that point I knew about the pool closure and turned it down, keeping our BWV reservation for that day.

I was reserving a dedicated 2 bedroom. I think I may have had an easier time if I had chosen a lock-off unit instead. I also thought that one day waitlist would have come through much much quicker then it did.

I have heard that President's Day week is a busy time as many schools in the East get the week off. I am on my last day of a day by day reservation for MLK week in 2008. I called first thing each morning they still always had to have me wait while they checked availability. You might get what you want by waiting and reserving at the end but why take the chance? (That was the helpful advice of another member when I was pondering the same question).

I re-read your title and realized you own at VWL and wondering about reserving at 11 months. I think if you want a dedicated you might want to call every couple days but the lock-off you may be fine waiting until the end. I found availablity at 7 months for most of my days. You could always call the first day and ask how they see the demand for the week.

Great advice, thank you...i should be closed in time to do it at the 11 month window, but could be a week after that...thats why i asked at 10 months...thank you
