Vtech Whiz Kids?

Hi just wondering if anyone has the NEW Vtech whiz kids and if they liked it or not? It is 49.99 and it also has software that you can buy like Thomas etc.
Just wondering if it is worth it/if your kids liked it??
It is for my preschooler, really wanting him to master his abc's.....

Haven't tried that, but just wanted to share that my daughter learned her abc's and sounds with the Leapfrog Letter Factory video and the cartridges on the Leapster (that is an awesome toy -- all the cartridges are education and there are a bunch of fun ones out there).

Thanks for the reply! I checked on leapfrog and they are actually having a big sale right now, the new read and write leappad is only 17 and the video you mentioned in 4.99. I am going to order that.

I vote for the Leapster. My son started using one when he was around 3 and still uses it at 5. It goes in the car, nursing home visits, restaurants, etc. He has learned a lot from the games which expand with age. My daughter 2 is now playing with her brothers so I will be getting her one soon. There is also the Leapster L-Max which can be played on tv as well....I as well as others on here have said the tv part was not worth the extra $$$ FYI.
