See now I disgree with this statement in some cases.
This man wanted attention, he sent that tape to NBC {or w/e station} for a reason, he will now live on infamously forever, especially the words he spoke on that video.
No.
Thats not how murderers work.
Had he wanted fame, he would've taken the chains off those doors and walked outside and turned himself in.
Had he wanted fame, he would've endured a months and months long trial, all teh while, plastered all over the news.
Had he wanted fame, he wouldn't have had to send anything out to NBC.
In sending out his thoughts on the matter, he was martyring himself. He made himself the victim. He didn't want fame for himself, but he wanted all of the world to know how (in his mind) evil everyone was. He said it in the video "you did this to me. I could've just disappeared, but no, now you're disappearing" or something like that. He spoke as a martyr, because he wanted to be a martyr. He
believed that he had been wronged. He only wanted revenge.
Had he wanted fame, he would've allowed himself to be caught.
He hated everyone in the whole world, including himself. In his mind, if he was leaving, he was taking as many of us out as he could with him.
If a sane person did it, yes, you could say he wanted fame, but the extensive mental disorders upon disorders with issues upon his issues that this man possessed take all rational thinking out of it.
