V's WISH'ing her way to a HOT BOD!! (Please help!!)

Made it through lunch....4 glasses of water and a WW meal later. Saved money too! I have to stop at the grocery on the way home so I am making my healthy list now. I am going to try and go for a run before DH goes to his game. Should be fun in the heat! I also want to get in some situps to try and get rid of this post baby tummy!!

I have 12 points left for the day - I figure I can get my dinner and a snack for that tonight...if only I could train my brain to quit thinking about food.

My goals/errands for tonight:

pick up Rx
grocery stop
laundry
Samantha's room clean
run/situps
long bath and relax with a book or movie...

I am going to do my hardest to stay off the 'net tonight. My behind is not getting any smaller by parking itself in front of the computer. :)


Remember - nothing tastes as good as thin feels......


Friday is my weigh in day so I am hoping to see some results this week....my new commitment is to go every week until I am back to LT...(being LT, I still only have to go once a month even though I am not at my LT weight) I think I need the accountability as well as to have to fork over $$.

HI all and thanks for visiting...I have been very good and cheat free!! I love it! Weigh in is tomorrow and although I have done well and stayed on plan I think I will have a gain...simply because it is that wonderful time of month for me and no matter how much water I am trying to drink I still feel so bloated...I am still going to think thin when I get on that scale. :goodvibes

Tonight I plan on taking the girls for a walk down the beach to get my exercise in. As long as it doesn't rain - which it has been almost everyday. DH has a ball game tonight so if I can get the girls to bed early I can have some quiet "me" time. At least I hope so anyway.

:cheer2: Yippee, I am almost through another day. I did well today, we went to Applebee's for lunch and I had the WW mesquite chicken salad for 5 points...it was "ok"....and for dinner chicken smothered peirogies for 7 points....that is an awesome meal that DH doesn't even know is a little on the healthy side!

So tomorrow is my weigh in...I will be there bright and early to face the music...I truly "wish" that my TOM was not my first week back and being cheat free, but maybe by next week if I remain cheat free I will see a larger loss.

This weekend will be tough, tomorrow we are supposed to go to Fin Daddy's for our pre draft fantasy football meeting...I have already committed myself to have no beer and only order a salad....:scared: I hope I can stick to my guns.

Then Saturday we have to go to Winter Haven for DH's softball tournament...I just need to commit to making good choices ahead of time. I can do it!

:cheer2: and the scale said a 4.8 loss!! I am so thrilled and super motivated. I bought two packs of the Fruities (love'em) and a pack of the Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Snack Bars (2pts). I called DH right away because I had to tell someone! He is, of course, my biggest fan whether I have a loss or not - but he shared my excitment. Now that I *see* a loss on the scale it truly helps my *mental* state as far as keeping myself motivated.


I went grocery shopping yesterday and did really well with the smart choices on healthy foods. The only snack items I bought were snack packs of things for DD which I don't eat. I bought the 100 calorie packs for me. There sure isn't any saving money when trying to diet!! I stocked up on FF pudding, FF jello, frozen meals for lunch, fruit, veggies and reduced fat wheat thins and triscuits. Today I brought my lunch - wonder light wheat bread (only 1 point for 2 slices!!) and healthy choice ham (only 2 points for 7 slices!!). Thought it would be a nice alternative and save me the $10 I normally spend going out. :blush:

I will make good choices when we go out this evening. I put a roast in the crockpot with potatoes and carrots this morning (7pts a serving) even if I don't eat it, my mom who is coming to babysit and Samantha can eat it. I should have a plate before we go and then if I feel hungry I can just get a salad later. I will not have any beer either...that just seems to pack on the pounds...and make me feel really bloated. :crazy2:

Tomorrow I think I am packing a small cooler with bottled water, fruit and maybe some crackers and I can make a light dip of some sort. That way I will have things to munch on during the tournament...on a side note DH said that they are bringing lots of guys - he contemplated not going so I said HEY LET's GO TO DISNEY...he said bring extra clothes just in case!! :teeth: I would be so thrilled to head over there for the afternoon...maybe to AK. So we'll see.....

I had that same salad at Applebees yesterday and agree with you completely--it was resoundingly "OK".

so I have 15.5 left for this afternoon and a snack! I certainly don't know why I have been dragging my feet so...it feels great to know I am putting healthy things in my body and making a better me in all ways, not just physically....:) My family deserves the best me that there is!

My mini goal is to lose 7.5lbs by weigh in 8/26/05 (DH and I are going to Sanibel for the weekend)...that is 1.5 a week...I hope I can accomplish this. Maybe 1.5 a week is setting myself to high?

I just realized I am .02 away from the new 5lb clip art!

WAY TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been eating Wonder Light Wheat bread for years. When I did WW a few times a few years ago I was missing bread so I had to find something that had enough fiber to help me but tasted good and wasn't high in points. That did it - all the others you can only have one slice and a half a sandwich wasn't cutting it. It's soooooo good and tasty bread too!!!

A light dip suggestion - get either light sour cream or fat free (whatever your preference is) and the dry Hidden Valley Ranch dip mix or dressing mix. Mix together and you have a great low fat dip. I've also heard of people using light or fat free sour cream and mixing salsa with it (I am NOT a salsa person so I don't know how it tastes) for a nice creamy dip.
