Yeah! Tickets arrived today! :cool1:

And...we got complimentary entry to the VRoom too!!!!:banana:

One question though , for anyone who has used VRoom before: We only got one card between 5 of us. Does the one VRoom access card let the whole family group through the fast track security and into the lounge?

Hi

one voucher is all you need for your group - it should say on it the number of adults and children booked on it (the paper part not the glossy card part)

Sx

Thanks. But we only have a Glossy card part...nothing else! :confused3

....better phone them I guess.

Can anyone give me some information on the Vroom. We have free access when we fly in November. I presume once we enter the lounge we can go back to the shops/duty free area, and then come back into the lounge? Do we stay in the lounge until we are ready to board the plane or do we move to a more general purpose lounge with all the other passengers? What is there to eat and drink? I presume there is free WIFI and newspapers?

You can go in and out of the VRoom all you like, they will just ask to see your boarding card and voucher when you re-enter. The lounge is air side (once through security), and you will stay there (unless you want to doing shopping) until it is time to board your plane. There is a departure board inside the VRoom, plus they always announce when a flight is ready for boarding. The only passengers that will be in the lounge are VH passengers - no VA passengers, and no one from any other airline.

I don't know about WIFI, but there are computers in the far room which give you unlimited access to the Internet - last time we were in there, we logged into the DISBoards and updated everyone (VRoom has only been open a month or so at the time!)

There is plenty to eat and drink. I can't imagine it has changed much over the years. Drinks were everything from hot teas and coffees, to fresh orange juice or canned drinks. Since you are already through security, you can take a drink with you to the plane from there! Food wise, there was toast and pastries, along with jams and stuff. Then there was hot food which was mainly bacon, eggs, and other breakfast-type things. There was cereal, fruit and yoghurts as well. I remember taking a can of diet coke and several croissants with me to the aircraft!

Cool, how exciting, we got a comp ticket too as our travel agent is my cousin to be!

I love things like this, I'm going to make sure I don't have brekki so I can have some there!

Sorry to be dull but what does VH and VA stand for?
