VP Cheney attacks Satire site

VP Cheney has gotten into a fight with a satire site about a fake bio on his wife. See http://www.newsday.com/news/politic...,2352828.story?coll=sns-ap-politics-headlines Since Lynn Cheney is a clearly a public figure, there was very little chance of Cheney winning this fight and instead he has given the site some great ammunition. For example, now the site has added the following qualification or warning to Lynn Cheney's bio.

And, it added, the editors of the Web site were "confident that any rumors about Mrs. Cheney formerly being a crystal meth pusher are 100 percent likely to be absolutely untrue. Similarly, any stories about her penchant for licking brandy Alexanders off the hirsute belly of her spouse are all lies, lies, lies!"

PS, while I love this site, I have refrained from posting material from it on DIS because some of the satire on this site was too extreme for DISers. For those DISers who are not easily offended, please visit the site.

That quote does nothing to compel me to want to visit that site.
