My DW and I will be in WDW for our 14th Anniversary with friends. I was thinking about surprising her with a wedding vow renewal on property. I am looking for any information or suggestions from the group regarding this. I have not spoken with a WDW rep yet but did receive some minor information. It looks like the pricing in the info is for weddings only and is a bit expensive for what I was looking for. Do they do anything smaller (i.e. cheaper) for vow renewals? Any other suggestions? Thanks!

they do have the escape/intimate where you can have a small affair thats really quite beautiful!! you might check out the website www.disneyweddings.com and see there the prices.. they also have a 'wishbook' option which might help you more with the financial aspect.

When it comes to planning you can look at all sorts of vendors to use, for your wifes hair and makeup, to outside photography, even additional floral. Let us know what are you interested in hearing more about. Would love to help you!

I'm afraid the prices I'm finding on their website are out of our price range. ($10,00+)

Anyone do anything smaller in WDW. Small ceremony (4 adults and 2 children)?

Im not familiar with the new prices for the escapes/intimates-- but they are much much cheaper. Mine in november was right at $3,000 for under 18 guests. Yours will be in that ballpark-- but prices have since gone up. Im thinking now its about $3,500 or $4,000-- much cheaper than the custom/wishes weddings!! The intimate would be what you need if you will be having under 18 guests! GL to you:thumbsup2

Yeah, still too rich. I just wanted to have a very small service in somewhere in WDW. Thanks for the info though.

I looked at this also after reading your TR, Maggimus. DH and I are celebrating our 10 yr anniversary this year and wanted to do something special. We pretty much eloped when we got married and we have a blended family so we thought it would be great to take the kids to WDW AND do a vow renewal at the same time. The $2950 price tag looked good but than it says further down that you must spend a minimum of $10K. :confused3 I'm so confused. We would probably have about 15 guests.

The 10K minimum is for Wishes/Customs weddings. An Escape/Intimate is the 3K range (depending on location and any extras you might want).

No-- the $2950 is all you will need to spend (plus tax ofcourse)-- the minimum 10K is for those who are having bigger lavish weddings with more than 18 guests.

You will get your flowers, cake, champagne, and location all included in the package, along with limo transportation. Its really nice!!

Thanks for reading my TR!! Hope you liked it!:goodvibes

Your TR was wonderful! One of my friends from work is getting married next year and can't decide where to honeymoon. A WDW wedding is out for them because of their families but I wanted her to see how great you all were treated even after your wedding. I think it would be great to have our VR there with our kids. $2950 isn't really bad for all you get. You would spend that even at some small venues here that aren't near as magical!
