We are looking at vow renewals for next July. Is Polynesian beach or conch key marina a prettier area. We are looking in to doing magic kingdom photos. Those are pricey, but a dream I've had. Is there a cheaper way to renew vows than the memories package? Thanks

Well, Conch Key is a smoking area next to a working marina, so Luau Beach gets my vote! Disney does not offer a package that costs less than Memories. If you have a military or government connection, you can get married at Shades of Green, which offers a slightly cheaper package. The basic fee for an event at the Swan & Dolphin is slightly lower, but anything besides the site and some chairs will cost extra. And I believe they've started doing weddings again at the Characters in Flight balloon at Downtown Disney, which costs about half what Memories costs.

Ok thank you! I wasn't sure if you could have like a reverend or someone else officiant it, or if the 2495 was the cheapest way at Disney.

Officially Memories is the cheapest package but people do just get a Rev and do it on their balcony or someplace else but you run the risk of been interrupted and kicked out.

What about Fulton's Crab House at DTD?? I've seen a vow renewal video (I think on You Tube??) That might be an option too?

Memories is cheapest for Disney. And it doesn't offer much except the ceremony and pictures with Disney Photography. The downside too, no chairs and you are limited to only 4 guests.
(Officiant doesn't count)

I think we will probably just suck it up and not be cheap haha. Only have vow renewals once at Disney. Our twins will be three, so I think going to futons crab house would be hard with everything in tow. Just big sticker shock initially.

Yea, but it's Disney. And they do all the work for you pretty much. I went back and forth on Memories or Escape, and I've decided to just stick with Escape. They'll do the cake & champagne, you get the annual passes, plus it gives me a little more "push" room if my sister and her family are able to make it.

If you stick with Memories, if you are in an on property resort, look into doing an in room celebration with a cake. Carrie's book has a section on that and how to do it. Plus her Wedding Podcast website has reviews of some Memories brides that did additional things to make it cheaper and more personalized.

(yes, sorry, another shameless plug for Carries book. LOL but seriously it's useful!)
