Ok.......so let give a little bit of background here REAL quick. My DW and I were married in Dec. of '04 and in short we got married too soon because we were both still in school and we didn't have the money to have the wedding we wanted. The biggest thing was our pictures turned out HORRIBLE!! So what I decided to do was surprise my DW with a vow renewal here in a year or two at Disney!! :woohoo: And the best part was, I wasn't going to tell her until a month before when she needed to get her dress altered, so it was going to be a COMPLETE surprise! I was even going to book the hair/makeup and EVERYTHING. She even brought up the idea of having a VR and I kept telling her that I didn't think it would be possible because it's just too expensive, or some other excuse. Unfortunately, she decided she wanted to do something that would COMPLETELY make a vow renewal impossible. In short, it rhyme's with "baby". Ok, it IS a baby!! :scared1: So I went ahead and told her last night that I had decided to book us a VR and she was in shock!! She kept telling me we couldn't afford it based on what I had told her whenever she brought the idea up. (a little more information about me: when I am coming up with a surprise, I tend to "embelish" the truth to keep her from finding out.) After I corrected her and told her that it IS possible and it WAS going to happen, she CRIED!!!!! Now she is on cloud 9 and can't think of anything but this, which makes me happy. I do have a question though; we decided we want to book the Sunset Pointe at the Poly. Does anyone know if there's space at all to dance, even if it's just 2 or 4 of us? At our first reception EVERYONE got up and left 15 minutes after we got there!! So we didn't get to have our dance in front of everybody and we had 12 dozen bubbles that only 4 or 5 people grabbed any of, so we didn't have the pictures of us leaving in a shower of bubbles like we wanted!! So you can see why this is so exciting to us. And I have also promised her that :mickeyjum and ::MinnieMo will be there, along with the MK photo session, since pictures are obviously so important to the two of us. So....we're back in full planning mode, even though we just left it 2 years ago. :lmao: And the BEST part........we're forcing my in-laws to go with us because they've NEVER been, even though my DMIL would LOVE to!!! We're going to give them their park tickets as a present so the only thing they have to do is come up with resort/food/souvenir money!! We're even letting them ride down there with us to make it even easier on them. Normally the thought of spending a week with my in-laws means BORING...but this time we get to show them why Disney's the GREATEST place on Earth!!!!!!!!!!! So here's to getting it right the 2nd time! If anyone has any suggestions or words of wisdom about ANYTHING, PLEASE let me know!!! I've also decided to book Randy Chapman for our photography.

You are so sweet. Yes you can have your first dance. During your cake cutting they will give you time for a first dance. You can bring a cd and a small cd player or have the violist that comes with the package play something. I would just make a list of the things that are the most important for you. And take to your WP about making those things happen. I'm sure it will be amazing. And congratulations on the baby!

No, no, no, no......I completely vetoed the "baby" issue. :lmao: She started talking about having one and I said if we do that, then we won't be able to do a bunch of things, which led to her question of "like what?". That's when I told her everything. Needless to say, she was more than happy to wait until after the VR to have a baby. :goodvibes

You are so sweet to plan this for her! What an awesome husband you are! I am with Laura, I thought she WAS having a baby!

I don't have any words of wisdom for you but congrats anyway, sounds like you are well on your way!

congrats on the upcoming vow renewal!!! you sound like such a caring husband, your wife is lucky to have you!
i've seen pictures of people dancing at sunset point, so yes you can have a dance!

Congrats on all of this-- how exciting and your wife must be so happy.

I hope you havent ruled out the baby issue completely-- she might not like that, especially since she seems to want one.

Randy is amazing-- your photos this time will be better than you could ever imagine-- so dont worry about bad photography again!!

Congrats!:thumbsup2
