Vow renewal?

How long should you be married when you have a vow renewal? We havent been married long, but we were crazy broke and had a cheesy wedding. Now I want the big, beautiful disney blow out that Ive always dreamed of!

I dont no to be honest but I'm sure if you wanted a vow renewal they will accomadate. I dont think you have to be married like 50 years before you have one, I think its doen to personal preferences

DH and I have talked about having one for our 5 year anniversary. It would be an intimate wedding with justa few friends, family, and our DDs. So I think it's completely up to you as to when you have it. There's nothing wrong with having it sooner than later.

I always thought five years was the earliest to do a small affair...
I always think of Jessica Simpson and Nick...Look were a one year vow renewal got them....lol...but seriously its a personal choice....

Same here. I won't do anything big until our 25 year. We're having an intimate wedding (just 8 guests) when we get married in a few weeks and plan to renew our vows by ourselves or just a couple of people every 5 or 10, but no big parties until we seriously have some longevity to the marriage to be proud of.

I didnt know Jessica and Nick had a vow renewal before their divorce. I never did hear about that... and I watched the show..
