Vow renewal in another place besides ship?

My husband and I will be celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary the day we set sail on the Wonder. We had looked into doing the vow renewal on the ship, but could not talk my DH into spending the extra $1000. (We have already spent a lot on this vaction with the cruise and 8 days at the Contemporary tower.) Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of a vow renewal being done at the port, before we get on the ship? I did not know where to begin looking for info. and thought I would start here. It's a long shot, but you never know.

I have only hear of on the ship or at CC...but what about at WDW? I got married at WDW and they had tons of locations to choose from and it was wonderful. It looks like that would be cheaper than on the ship... just an idea good luck

I trust you are wanting the Captain to do the renewal and Disney to arrange it? If not, you might see if there is a minister in the Cocoa Beach area who would be willing to do it. He wouldn't be allowed in the terminal since he isn't a passenger, but it could be done in the area (if it is the date that is important.) I know that my minister sometimes calls someone of the same denomination in another city when special circumstances occur.

Another thought might be to do the renewal at home before you travel--that way your family and friends could attend and the trip would be sort of another honeymoon.

This is just a suggestion ok and it is only for Brevard County well more like Cape Canaveral - there are some beautiful places here to renew your vows -
I married a couple (this is when I broke my foot) on the beach at sunrise and if I hadn't been hurting so bad, I could have enjoy the beauty of everything.

WELL EVERYBODY ----------TOMORROW WE ARE OUT OF HERE - the only thing I am regretting is that we will miss the shuttle on Tuesday.
