vow renewal at Castaway Cay

Has anyone done a vow renewal on ship or at Castaway Cay? Would like to know more about it. Thanks,

We have a vow renewal planned for the 10 night Dec cruise. I was told that Castaway was not an option - had to be done on board, on a sea day. I would also love to hear from anyone who has already done this.

Hi!

We haven't done it yet, but we're going to be the "other" vow renewal couple on the 10 - cruise in December as they only allow 2 vow renewals per 7- day cruise and vow renewals are held on a sea day! I went to the Wedding section of the DIS boards and searched under vow renewal to get some more info and went on to the disneywedding.com site too.

I got married on board. I was suppossed to be married on CC but that didnt happen due to Hurricane weather. I am pretty sure that if you are renewing you vows you can only do it on board and it will take place in the caddillac lounge. I have posted pictures here in the past if you would like to see them. DCL is the best place for any wedding.

Hi there

We did a vow renewal onboard DCL last December, 2003. VR's are not allowed on CC and have to be done in the Cadillac Lounge.

There were 11 family members travelling together and I gave them all Disney Character names, I was Tinker Bell, and my husband was Peter Pan.

I made all the invitations and place cards etc and we had our meal in Palo's.
