I appreciate Reese too but I have a friend that has a cat with this name. For me, that's enough of a reason to not choose this name.

We came home from our Christmas trip to an abandoned kitten that is black and white all over (kind of like a paint horse). We named him Oreo.

She actually does have more orange than is shown in the pictures. It looks like here parents were a brown tabby and an orange and white tabby.

I know what you mean. Each of our cats has at least 3-4 names.

I just think of a buttercup as a fluffy-type cat - Zoey sounds like a "cool" cat, and she look more cool then cuddly (even if she really *is* cuddly, knim?)

Her look is "I'm cool and I rule"!

I always shorten everyone's name; how would you shorten Buttercup?

My DS has a cat and named her "Kitty Little Girl" (odd) but his choice. Everyone calls her "LG" but I call her "Kitty Kitty"!

What about Indie Anna? We have a dog named Indie Anna because she is so full of adventure and trouble. Most of the time we just call her Indie.

Otherwise, I like Zoey.
