Best moderate to try with 3 year old
We've been at the poly beach club and vwl. Time to try a moderate resort.

A 3 yr old will be happy anywhere! POR is our fav resort, central location and has a bit more to offer. Boat to DTD, horse & carriage rides, fishing hole, fun family entertainer at lounge in evenings, good food court, beautiful landscaping/theming.
We prefer the mansion section. Love strolling along the river, and buildings in this section have an elevator in centre of building. Handy if you have a sleeping child in a stroller, and don't have ground floor room. The Alligator Bayou section doesn't have elevators, nor does CBR.

I vote POR. I think the grounds are beautiful and the carriage ride would be a fun family activity (we really enjoyed it!). We like the Magnolia Bend section of the resort best.

I voted for CSR because coming off the deluxe resorts this would be the next step down.
- Look at the Business Class rooms.
- You didn't say your dates but CSR is getting a room renovation and maybe it would be done by your trip.
- I have stayed with a toddler there and we loved it, beautiful, relaxing, uncrowded pools.

Second choice would likely be POR.
- Great resort for shady and pretty walks.
- Boat to Downtown Disney.
- Access to the POFQ main pool.
- Good table service and food court.
- Check out the Royal Guest Rooms!!

I voted for CBR......beautiful surroundings, nice food court, a great pool with a fun pirate theme for kids, and very efficient (IMO) transportation.

I voted for CBR because of the pirate ship splash pad. Seriously I wish I was little so I could play in it.

CBR, best splash area for 3 year old, zero entry pool, great resort, chicken nuggets in a bucket for 3 year old. CBR is our favorite resort.

POR for the awesome grounds, best food court and boat access to DTD.

CBR for the zero entry pool, an awesome splash pad area, great food court, laid back relaxed atmosphere and beautiful newly remolded rooms.

Have stayed at CSR many times, but have also stayed at CBR & POR. CSR is our favorite moderate. It's a quick ride to all the parks, grounds are beautiful & not too big of a resort. We always requested a room in Casitas 4. Close to food court without having to pay the preferred room rate & close to Bus Stop #2, which is the first to be picked up. You will always get a seat as opposed to being near bus stop # 1, which is the last to be picked up.

I voted for CBR. Seems the best choice when one of the family members is a three year old. Not sure the beautiful grounds of POR would appeal as much but the colors of the buildings are eye-catching at CBR and the pool is great!
