We are heading to the Poly for a surprise trip next weekend.

:thewave:
I was wondering how busy the Volcano pool will be if we head back for afternoon breaks. I assume we will try to hang at the pool somewhere around 1:00-4:00pm. Is there ANY chance of getting a couple of chairs? I figured we could cool off with a few Daiquiri's and crash untill dinner after.:drinking1

Or, maybe the quiet pool isn't too packed.

TIA'

This is my fourth year going to the POly in August......I think one time...I got one chair. I never bothered me b/c it is so hot I was IN the pool. I never checked the quiet pool. Don't let that spoil your trip...Poly is great!!

Just returned on Thursday from the Polynesian and I don't think the pool was ever that crowded. We used it at different times during the week and I always found a table and chairs around the pool. We used the quiet pool one afternoon and that was fun too. The quiet pool is deep on one end , about 7-8 feet so the kids and adults could dive and jump into the pool, but no lifeguard is on duty there.

We asked the lifegaurds to find us a cuple of chairs and they did. They set them up for. The staff is wonderful there. We found that we spent more time in the water then in the chairs.

Thanks! I will probably be spending a lot of time in the water as well or find a hammock on the beach. Luckily, my kids are old enough to hang at the pool without us standing over them, so a close table/chair isn't as important as someone with younger kids.
