Volcano Bay first time report

We did VB for the first time yesterday, record high temperatures in Orlando! Absolutely take advantage of early admission, you will have your pick of chairs, and every attraction was basically walk-on for at least the first two hours! One thing, please familiarize yourself with the park map, as many of the attractions have similar names, and there aren't a whole lot of posted maps throughout the park. Right now, the large blue & green family rafts are closed, as are the racing slides. Oh, and nothing beats the heat like one of those waffle cones (Waturi Fusion FTW) at the stand near the Marketplace! Don't forget to pick up this year's Annual Pass VB button either, it's so cool!

Thanks for the info. Will be going for our first time to VB soon. Although we are sure the crowds will be bigger for March break, we're definitely taking advantage of Early Entry and I've studied the map thoroughly.

Since our tickets are Park to Park, we're likely only going to visit for the mornings one or two of our days on the trip and then leave around lunch time to go and tour IOA and USF in the afternoons with EP.

Pungas Racers has been closed for a while. It was closed the first week of Feb when I was there.

That's usually what I do. It is so empty in the mornings, especially that first hour. Have fun!

Pungas Racers has been closed for a while. It was closed the first week of Feb when I was there.

I wonder if they're making changes to it so they can increase the comically low weight limit for these slides (150 lbs.)
