Volcano Bay Cabanas Question

I'm considering booking a 6 person Cabana, how much do they police that limit? Like if it was actually 7 would that be a problem? Or if it was 4 and another family of 5 stopped by and stored their stuff would it be an issue?

we did 7 with a 6 person one in March 2021. There is not a ton of storage - but it wouldn't be a problem to have extra stuff there if your second scenario happens. We leave our stuff on our chairs in the park all the time though - it has never been an issue for us,

There's not a lot of chairs in there for 7 people. There's a long lounge and then two chairs. The Cabanas are not huge. You can do it. Don't lock everything in the lockers just things like wallet's and electronics.
