Voices of Liberty

Hearing Voices of Liberty is a must do for my family whenever we go to EPCOT. They are amazing.

We had one of the most memorable WDW moments last week when we were there. At their first show, we asked if it would be possible to hear "You'll Never Walk Alone" during one of the performances. We were told to come back for the second to last show.

This song has great meaning for our family and hearing it live under the dome was incredible. Not a dry eye in the house.

So, if anyone from Voices of Liberty is out there reading, thank you for a truly magical moment. It meant so much. And for anyone going to EPCOT, I recommend you stop by the American Adventure and see Voices of Liberty.

Always a must-do for us too. We try to catch several performances during our stay. And I especially love to hear them during Christmas!

My very favorite thing to do in The World is (was) to see Spirit of America Fife & Drum Corps then head inside to enjoy Voices of Liberty and then watch The American Adventure.

A little side note; on my last trip (Sept 2017) I sat next to two women of a certain age waiting the VOL. They were from Ireland and I asked them if they had seen the show and the singers before. They said this is their third time this visit, that they had been there 10 years ago and really looked forward to this. They tear up and feel a patriotic empathy with us every time they see it.

With my family, I pay for everyone but I have 2 requirements. The Hall of Presidents and Epcot America. My daughter calls me a crazy ex Marine (I correct her there is no such thing as an EX marine) but she tolerates me.

I tried to find their schedule on Disney's entertainment schedule but they are not listed. Does anyone know there schedule? We will be there week of December 9.

The Voices are super nice people as well as being terrific singers. Don't hesitate to go visit with them after a set is finished. You'll have plenty of time to still get upstairs in time to see the theater show.

I totally agree and did that already. It's a great thing to do anytime a CM spreads the magic. Disney makes a big deal of recognizing the person and the report goes in their file if I recall correctly.

I'm curious - when you asked about hearing "You'll Never Walk Alone" did it sound like they were planning it already in that second to last show, or they were going to do it simply at your request?

I also heard them sing it once before and it was so moving, I'd love to hear it again. I'm going in a few weeks, and plan to catch a couple of performances on one day and will rearrange my schedule to catch that second to last performance if I could hear that song again....

Just be aware that the Voices sets aren't so structured as your thought might imply. They depend very much on the performers on a given day, and the whims.
Having said that, a request is not out of the question. (I've had them do 'Battle Hymn of the Republic' for me more than once.) But even then, I wouldn't set my heart on it. Any given song needs the right personnel.
