My daughter's boyfriend said (with some authority) that Kirkland bought Grey Goose and that they are the same. I don't drink hard liquor so I can't speak from experience.
Grey Goose has been owned by Bacardi since 2004. And side by side, Kirkland and Grey Goose don't even taste remotely alike. Not that Kirkland isn't a good vodka (I like Kirkland, I think Grey Goose is overpriced and only ok).

Hangovers are caused mostly by dehydration. Alcohol is dehydrating. Less alcohol and a glass of water between cocktails, then staying awake until you are relatively sober, and taking two Advil before bed might work depending on how much you drink. Also, some people seem to be less likely to get them. Serial drinking (i.e. drinking every night) also reduces hangovers (I wouldn't recommend it) Less pure alcohol may contain other forms of alcohol than ethanol - more distilling removes those, and some people believe that is a contributor to the hangover. But the research on that has not held up. The biggest factor is simply drinking to the point of dehydration.
