I hope its real too... I really wont ever forgive Disney for that. I'll just never get over vmk, and I know vmku wouldn't be as good, but at least they are trying to make a great community.

Kids can do anything. Heard of Maplestory Private Servers? Most of them are run by kids and they do a great job supposedly, since there seem to be a lot of members on most of them. I'm pretty sure the VMKU site has been up at least a year, if not a little less. I was seeing people signed up on the forums in 2008. I've heard they've gotten permission for things and that VMK never copyrighted their stuff. I don't know how true this stuff is, but if it has been around since 2008, don't ya think Disney would've found it and shut it down if they didn't want it going on?

The thing is... I've never recieved those tests. I've emailed them from about 6 different e-mail addresses, and nothing back. Nada. Something tells me they're just saying it, and it's never actually going to happen.

ok well i was talking to my mom about it last night and she said that i shouldn't get my hopes up until it opens.... because if it's not associated with disney it might just be a total fake.... that would be so sad... i really hope it's going to be real, i would be so sad if it wasn't... so so sad

I'll play VMK unleashed when it comes out. I miss VMK too much to not. It looks pretty much the same and I don't mind starting over.

I'll never understand why Disney stopped VMK. It was obviously working for them. I know that it was only supposed to be for the 50th celebration but look at how popular it was.

Gosh, after reading this im really excited about it. Well, even if it doesn't work out... it can't be as disappointing as vmk shutting down in the first place, right? And im proud of the people working on vmku- even if they are kids. At least they have the courage and heart to do something about the kingdom, to try to revive it in some way. And I also believe kids can do anything they want to.
