VMK's New Way of Dealing With CL Apps

I haven't applied, but do you think there might have been questions that
needed really detailed answers? For instance, if one of the questions
is how to get NPC credits with Esmeralda, there could be:

1. Go to the Emporium and click on Esmeralda.

or you could answer:

1. Click on Main Street on your map. Then click on Emporium. Esmeralda
is in that box in the middle of the room. Double click on her.


Which of these answers seems like the better answer to you?
Before anyone makes any judgements about being a leader, perhaps you
should think about HOW you answered the questions.

That's my theory, anyway. Maybe I should ask for the application just to
see what sorts of questions they ask. (I don't want to be a leader, so I
wouldn't send it in.)

Lori hit the nail right on the head. Part of the criteria is probably *HOW* questions are answered. Simple answers with no emotion may not necessarily cut it.

all i remember is that my answers were horrible and not thought out, wont make the same mistake

They're not extremely evil for sending out rejections letters to people who got the questions right. You're expecting too much of them. They could easily get several hundred applications a day (though it would probably stall a bit lower).
Just keep trying and be one of the first bunch on April 1st.
They don't have 4000 workers .

No, I am mad they lied, not they rejected me. It's their loss. I've seen Cls be plain jerks to new people. I really don't care anymore. They get paid to play a game and answer email, I expect them to sort through whatever they ask for. If it's too hard to answer some emails and play a game then they shouldn't have that job.
