So i was reading what yavin was saying and i saw VMK stories. WOAH. Any info on this anyone? it looks amazing.
p.s i know they wont be doing it anymore

It is amazing, it's practically complete, and it's a real shame that it'll never be played.

Look for a post from me sometime after May 21st with lots of details about VMK Stories and other developmental efforts that never saw the light of day.

I've come to the conclusion that some of the people working at WDIG are just not very smart. The programmers and moderators are great, but the people who decided to close VMK? Not so much.

Seems like the VMK Team had no idea it was going to close. We might have interpreted certain moves as telltale signs that the game is ending, but I really believe that they didn't see it coming. I *really* want to know what this big third birthday thing was going to be. Maybe they can just register yavn's notebook dot com and we can all see what cool things were in the works!

It's funny how they worded that paragraph. They made it sound like even if VMK were to continue, VMK Stories wasn't going to happen.

I think it is safe to say that the developers and designers did not see this coming. This decision was made at an executive level it would seem. Blind-sided!!

I agree that the hosts, designers and developers were kept in the dark almost as much as we were. All the work and effort into all the new stuff...you wouldn't do that for a "three year promotion....a three year promotion" Ka-pow! (sorry, a little Giligans Island there)
I would love it if they're being pulled off to work on a newer, better VMK, but I doubt it. They're (the executives & PR ppl) almost being arogant in their responses about closing VMK.
Dang it, all fired up about it again. Feel like mailing off more Avatars...!!!
