VMK Quest Problem... Answered

Did anyone have trouble with the task of buying an item? Does it matter I bought it from Small World and Neds?
I have bought two items and the task wont advance

You can buy a single item but it has to cost atleast 200 credits, I have been buying alice ride straight pieces and advance everytime.

The correct purchase amount is 200 credits, If you are on characters with no magic might i recommend 1 time use magic for 200 credits (I have finally found a purpose for it)

That quest was really difficult I thought, i wouldn't have finished it without Google. Anyway, it took forever, so I decided to only do it as one person
