VMK Pins!

I don't think you will see these in the parks, sorry to dissapoint you . They are only sold at Mickey's of Glendales in California to Cast Members. It is a limited edition of 300 and Cast Members are unable to buy more than two. Your best bet will be E-Bay.

Didn't they say the same thing about the actual VMK pin and lanyard and it turned out to not be true that there were MANY more than 300 of them and not just for cast members.

I have not seen the pics yet, but my niece works for Disney and she was able to order them off of the Cast Portal for me on Friday. I am sure the Tiki pins will be on ebay soon enough (if not already).

Just an FYI - the pins sell for $8 to cast members - and you are lucky if you can get them for less than $15 - $20 on the secondary market.

If I had extra funds at this time, I would have had her order me two sets of them all...

I don't think I'd buy the VMK pins unless they released TikiT's hotel pins, or perhaps a collection of the Magic Pins. But the "real" pins look fabulous.

I just want to say I'm pleased there are some Ebay sellers who are listing these at low starting prices. Doesn't mean the winning bids will be low, but at least it gives you the illusion that you have a chance.

Yes there are two kinds of that pin. Same look but different backstamps. The original was limited to 300, then got rereleased with a different backstamp.

I don't know anything about the vmk pin and lanyard, but currently these are only for cast members and there are only 300. But you never know maybe they will re-release it with a different back stamp if there is enough interest. Only time will tell.

i traded a retired i think, space mountain, one that was not posted in the picture, for this coolio stitch looking hat pin.

it was from a staff from disney too! The night i was waiting for the parade to start by the entrance to frontierland. RIGHT by the Mickey, and Walt Statue, in front of the castle.

Dizpinfriend, is the Cast Portal some online site all Disney folks can access, do you know? I have a friend who's a CM is Walt Disney World, and I'm sure she'd grab me a tiki pin if I asked her to, but not sure if the WDW CMs have access to this.

These pins along with many others are exclusive to Cast Members. These pins are from the WDI Mickey's of Glendale store/collection. I am not sure if other Cast Members can order them through mail or if you must go and buy them from the Mickey's of Glendale store itself. Although like others have mentioned- these are exclusive pins and they only usually sell 300 of each.

Either you are lucky enough to know a Cast Member, you are a DLR Cast Member, or happen to come across one on a lanyard thats for trade to get them
