I know its confusing, but you have to understand where they are coming from.

They cant endorse software they dont make. Read the vmk values and decide if VMKPal is against it.

I personally use it.

Code generators. hmm... sounds like they only have uses that are against the VMK values.

Its basically a hub to save your VMK password, and it can take pictures, store codes, and it has a chat manager.

It was kinda obvious they were not talking about VMKPal when they said that in the newsletter. It was kinda a pointless disscussion when someone made a thread about we cant use it or something.

VMKPal code manager does not enter codes into VMK at any time. It is a place for you to put codes like a notepad. You cannot use this feature to enter codes into your character in game.
