Well they are, the DS Lite, it is in the video. But I doubt it would have an upgraded ram like that. Well, I am keeping my hopes up, and if it doesn't, at least I can still surf the dis and the web with it.

The newly announced Opera DS web browser has been confirmed to have a DS RAM expansion pak included with it. There will be two variants of the pak, one normal sized for the orginal DS, and a 1cm shorter sized for the DS Lite, set to launch in Japan of March 2nd. Nintendo denied that any titles will usse the pak and said it will only be bundled with a browser card. Bellow is a picture of the RAM card and the systems they go into.







A side note: Nintendo stated a release of the TV tunner card is highly unlikely outside of Japan simply because 1Seg isn't a supported format outside of Japan.

Would this allow for VMK or not.

If you run Windows task manager while playing VMK on youre computer you will notice how much memory it uses. About 114,940k of memory you think the DS will be able to handle that ?

No I am not just a techno geek like you are. Even then how does that make me a fanboy, well maybe of VMK, but that is not the point. You don't have to go around insulting people. I don't really know much of anything with computers.

You have future owner of a revolution in you're signature, you have a DS as your avatar, you talk about all Nintendo games are the greatest on the planet, and finally you have playing nintendo video games in you interest. That makes you a fanboy.

Okay I concede that. But you sound like a sony fanboy. What you don't know is I also have a PS2 so I can at least make a fair viewpoint. I have also played the XBOX. I don't really care for them that much. I like the games that Nintendo makes. Besides without Nintendo, you wouldn't have the analog stick, or the Playstation for that matter.

I will end up with a revo, because it is the ONLY innovative console of this generation of consoles. I will still use my trusty PC for most things though.

I would use games on my PC, but my dad doesn't like me doing stuff on there. Besides, graphics will eventually hit a brick wall.

Well, my thoughts are that, VMK would be impossible beacause imagine games and chat.

I will however buy the thing if I can put it on my current DS. I'm NOT buying anohter one.

Well if you think about it, you can't have graphics better than reality. Innovation will never stop, well maybe, but much farther down the line. Also brain it can go in your current DS. Actually for the RAM upgrade, there are two different sizes, one for the original and the new one.

true. But the limit on a PC still applies to a console. Pcs will always be better than consoles till the earth is gone.
