VMK Name Change?

I set up my VMK player about a month ago and and my VMK name was ok then. So how come when I sign in now they want me to change it? I was able to sign in and get around with the old name a few times I was just wondering what changed? Old Name was Mr.Lizzard Any body have a clue?

I think it might have been because you used a period on your name. I know Ms.Behave had her name changed to simply "MsBehave." VMK is adjusting their policies...and one of them is the elimination of numbers and punctuation from user names.

I still think they have bigger fish to fry, IMHO.

My VMK name was "sharkbaitoohhaha" and I loved it. I had it for about and month and when I logged on last week it asked me to change it. Now I am "MsSharkBait" like my name here on dis boards. The only reason why I thought they would want me to change is maybe because it was too long? When chatting everyone was able to see my full name, but on firewords for example, my name was cut off on the satistic listing. Weird.

I never even met you, but I knew your screen name (thanks to PeachyT), and used it with pleasure, and even added it to the List of Cool, Interesting, and Useful screen names. I will miss it, too.

I loved your name too! I saw you in Town Square one day and had to write down your name on a "stick he" note so I could remember it!
