I logged back on to the new character I was making. Now I have to choose clothing again, and the costumes are gone!

Does anybody who got the costumes before vmk closed still have the new costumes?

I'm betting it was a mistake as I was told these would not be available until the release of the new PotC Movie in a couple months. Once again the lucky few that were able to get it this morning will be walking around with items the rest of us cant get, just like the people that got the green car quest magic before that was made more difficult.

Well thats not fair! Maybe when they searched for who had the costumes they did not search for the players that just bought the hats?

Pirate costumes would probably come out for the movie tie-in, so I'm
sure we'll eventually get them.

Doesn't anyone remember the time VMK released the pink princess hat
too early and a lucky few who logged into the game early were able to
buy them?

I don't see how this mistake is any different. Sheesh people, relax!

Preaching to the choir, my friend. That's what you get when you work in
an office with heavy firewall restrictions. Reading these boards at lunchtime
is my vicarious thrill.

Well, maybe it has something to do with the princess hats being a sold
item, and the costumes today being made free with new mules.
I could see how trading abuse could run rampant had anyone been allowed
to keep them, so I actually on the side of taking that stuff back.

We'll probably have to pay for them in the stores later.
