How do you find out about these things?

Does someone make a new mule every day just to see if there are new things out there?

I was on Main Street and some kid in the pirate costume told the room how to get it. When I started creating the new character there were actually 2 costumes in instead of just the pirate. I was betting that most everyone took the pirate so I took the sea creature. I just hope he is still there when they come online.

Well, I jus got in for a half a second and was in the process of dressing my 2nd new character in pirae costume when I dc again. I got the hat, pants, and shores before dc. I hope they are still there on the character when I get back in.

I just got on, and the costume was still there! BUT!! I couldn't click next!! It wouldn't let me! Than I got dc.

I logged into VMK this morning and went into VMK_Runo's room and someone asked how you get the pirate costume and he said they haven't been released yet. I was only in for about a minute before dc.

I just was able to get on and started to create new character. Got to the dress your character part. The hats were still there, but I disconnected! GRRRR!

I was fully dressed in my new pirate costume, picked my guest room, created a name, and then when I clicked next this "error.50" came up and after about five times trying, I disconnected! So close, yet so far........

Just now I was able to connect for a new character and got as far as dressing her in a sea creature costume. I clicked next, then got error .5 code. I am betting vmk is removing these costumes now.

I got in, made the new charater got the costume then when I clicked next ERROR 50 popped up and it would not go further in the process...

I also noticed the Briar rooms is GONE from the new charater option..

And does anyone know if they can be traded?

And has anyone tried to get them for their main character??

If you have assigned a character an email address and password, but haven't gotten past the costume stage. Do you just sign in with that email and password?

I just attempted to log on to VMK and I got a totally new message, well, new for me anyway. At first VMK was loading oh so slowly. I figured that they must be adding stuff, because that is the only time that my computer loads VMK that slowly. Finally, VMK is loaded, the updating bar pops up and loads, then I get a window saying that my computer cannot connect to the VMK server. I should check my firewall and internet settings.

I have been playing VMK since it was in beta. I have never received that message before. So, I either think that it was a fluke or VMK is making more changes than just costumes. Either way, I need to wait for my husband to wake up to explain how to check my firewall and internet settings. I am always lost on those sort of things until he teaches me what to do.

I got to the part where you get the error 50 pop up. When VMK reopens will we be able to sign in using our new person and get to pick out a name and outfit? Is anyone else starting to think that the release of the costume was a mistake and they are taking it out now?
