I just found this short article from the New York Times, I can't believe they mentioned my name!
VMK HQ(AP)-- Disney fans that find themselves unable to visit the Magic Kingdom now flock to the next best thing- Disney's Online Virtual Magic Kingdom. Virtual Magic Kingdom, or VMK, is a Walt Disney World/Disneyland Simulator in which players create characters and chat with each other. For those who prefer to play games there are playable remakes of Pirates of the Carribean, the famous "Wishes" fireworks, the Jungle Cruise, Autopia, and many others.
"VMK is a fun game, but it is very frustrating to communicate due to the fact that there is a very limited dictionary that you chat from while playing" says avid VMK fan Clara Net in a chatroom discussing the subject. "VMK stinx," says a former VMK player who only identified himself as L33t Sk1zzl3s, "therz no skillz to build up r anything, its rely boring."
Building status in VMK is the same as building status in the real world. Player popularity revolves around the acquisition of "rare" or "beta" items, "credits" (the currency of the Kingdom), or "wootness." The most established players in VMK seem to be Aengus, Cardinal, and MrGenie. Cardinal, of course, is the most handsome of the three. He gets all of the ladies, and new players have to kiss his feet if they are caught in his shadow.
VMK may be fun for now, but the programmer "Yavn" has revealed that the game is closing at the end of April. Many players were dismayed by hearing this, but were relieved that VMK is to become "it's a small world online."
APRIL FOOLS!
I really am the coolest though.
