VMK Guide: So You're Going to WDW

Question: These cards are listed as "retired" on the VMK site...are they available at WDW? When I went to Disneyland in June, the golden Mickey ears were no longer available.

Really? I got gold mickey ears last week at WDW.

My DH and I were celebrating our Anniversary while we were at WDW 10/4-10/7 and they gave us the gold ears and pennypress. They have PLENTY of the Pennypress at the candy shop and where you buy a pin. They're using it as a substitute since they don't have the 50th pin cards anymore. They were out of the wanted poster at Buzz Lightyear. Most everything else was there for all the quests and we turned in our Hidden Mickey II certificates to get the DL Golden Show Designer Collection card. Saw plenty of Pirates by Pirates but not too many at VMK Central. They even have the bracelets left when you complete several quests.

Some people are requiring the stamp for the Thrill Seekers quest but others are just giving it (the couch) if you have all the questions answered right. The manager said it's up to the CM. But be careful, they shorted us the room for Thrill Seekers b/c they said we didn't have the stamp even though you didn't need it for the room but only for the couch. It's up to the CM b/c they gave them both to my parents.

We were there yesterday and yes, they do have a lot of the cards left of everything. You might not have seen a lot of Pirate cards at Central because they are now keeping them behind the register and giving them out one per person which is nice. The bracelets are nice, but the code on them is the same as the one listed here so you really only get the bracelet. The Buzz cards are hit and miss I think. When we went before, they had tons of them, but the day before someone posted they didn't have any. I guess it just depends on when you go. We were also told for the Thrill Seeker that you have to get it stamped or they will not accept it. Maybe that is why you didn't get everything. When we asked, we were told that you couldn't get everything unless you had it stamped. We still have to get our Thrill Seeker done. We just can't seem to get over there in time lately to go to AK first.

I wish I'd seen this before we went. We just got back. They don't have the invisibility magic anymore, so they gave me a gold collection instead.

How do you get invisibility anyway? Is it a prize for a high score or from a quest? I got it by playing pirates, but I never got a card. I so hope you didn't mean teleportation magic, I will be soooooooooooo unhappy.

Please change this answer it is Two I used this guide and it was wrong but they stil gave me the cards. The dog only has two now since they lost one in refurbishment of pirates I Know this was posted but never thought to check it with you guide.

How do you get your Mickey BOOs to bounce seperately like that!?

I printed this out and am all ready for my trip! I don't know if I will get to all the Parks for stamps, etc., but I will grab what I can!

We were doing this today and trying to figure it out. 2 keys, for sure! So, what is the answer to the last qestion where you multiply the carpets by the keys by the ships???................What ships are they even talking about?

They usually comp this last question, as they haven't been able to change it on the quest pamplet.

The ships can be seen outside of a shop (can't remember which). They are above the doorway and rotate around in a circle.
