You did nothing wrong. That information is available on the Home Page and it is not a secret. It is the job of the MODERATORS to monitor the boards - so I would pay no attention to the admonishment of random posters.

Tolkien, i would like to explain why you can't ask that on a discussion board, but It's a secret. Let's just say that anyone who happened to send in a letter via the VMK contact page on Dec 1st will know why.

You don't have to explain to me - I already know. What you don't know is if this person was genuinely asking an innocent question and you admonished her for reasons she knows nothing of. Maybe it would be better to let the moderators take care of posts they deem inappropriate and for the rest of us to be kind to each other.
