A little info on pirate fun days and a new pirate quest!

Every Thursday

Arrgh! We know how much you scallywags love VMK's Pirates of the Caribbean game - so we decided to give you a special treat! This month only, if you play either Pirates of the Caribbean game (Capture the Flag or Ship Battle) and are on the winning team – your winning game credits (not your individual score) will be doubled! Play every Thursday and good luck matey!

Pirates Quest
May 25–27th
Celebrate Pirate Month in-game with a Pirate Quest fit for any Captain! Aye, thar be trivia from both Pirates of the Caribbean movies, plus additional pirate trivia. Think you know a parrot from a peg-leg? Arrgh, then test yer wits - and for your efforts, thar be a fine prize given to the ones that complete the Quest!

Hmm. Sounds like there will only be one prize for this multi-day quest.

Since it's multi-day and over a weekend, that means that more people will have a chance to do it.

But, it also means that everyone will have lots of time to do it a dozen times. If it's a new item, that won't be good for traders because it won't be rare any time soon.

I really want to do the pirate quest but I'll be away from a computer that whole time (though one of the days I'll be in Disneyland Paris ) Could someone pick up extra for me?

Now, if I pray for rain maybe I won't have to camp and the kids can't get mad at me for not camping!

I wonder if there will be games for the pirate quest. I'm personally really glad the days of one-day quests with games are over --- those days were way more stressful than they needed to be. Half my friends could never complete it due to the fact that they were working, at school, whatever, and then of course vmk itself doesn't cooperate with crashing, sending you back to the lobby, etc... even my friends who had all day to play, some of them wouldn't be able to finish with the Mansion game being so bad on quest days. And then those of us that could complete it would scramble like mad to finish as many quests as possible so our friends could have the item, too. Whew! This game is supposed to be fun and those quest days last year were anything but!

Well, if you do happen to miss out, you may not end up being too disappointed. It looks like the prize is going to be Cursed Storm magic. It would be cool, if it was tradable. But, it's not.

If that really is the prize, then I'll probably doing it only once to get a two star pin. But, I really don't need anymore since I already have 11 characters with that magic. It's also my least favorite magic.

Yeah. The best thing would be to make it tradable.
I still don't get why so many wanted items are untradable. The Kellogg's magic, the purple superhero suit, New Year's 07 pin, up and down slides, etc. It's just...rediculous and sad.
