VMK/DLR update

Just wanted to give a heads up to anyone planning on going to DLR to do quests.

1. Animator Desks are still available at DCA.

2. They are no longer have cards for the Adventureland Quest.

3. The 10 card prize pack for completing 4 quests only has 5 cards.

4. More or less official policy change. All members of your party must be present to redeem quests. I know that this has happened to people in the past, but most CMs are now enforcing this policy. The CM I spoke to said the change came from VMK.

As with all things VMK/Disney your CM mileage may vary.

Very strictly. Even annual passes of spouses or children are not being taken unless they are standing right there at VMK Central with you.

A bit extreme if you ask me, but that's the new rule....

And one addition to Coasters update:

5. Magic Shop is completely out of Magic Mirror cards. They have been for a while. The CMs there have been told they are getting a new item, but nothing has been supplied to them.

i went to disneyland towards the end of october to do the pirates quests finally and i asked the CM at VMK central if all the people had to be here to redeem the cards and he said they didn't have to be. maybe all of the ticket holders being there is being more enforced now or it just depends on which CM you get working at the time? i'm not too sure...but i'm planning to go next friday with a lot of people to redeem the christmas quest so we will see what happens then

They are strictly enforcing this policy as of last week.

They still have cards. You have to be on your toes with this one. They are out of the question cards. But if you still have one, they can still honor it. I went last week and the girl told me they were out. So I told her a friend just got them the day before and so she called her supervisor and her supervisor told her that as long as I had the question card, it was okay to give the cards and when she pulled them, there were just as many Adventureland cards as any other cards in the drawer. A few people later, my friends were redeeming their quests. However a shift change happened between when I went up and when they went up. So this guy says flat out they are out of cards. I say, I just got them five minutes ago. He says...really? I said, yes the CM prior told me as long as I have my question card, they would take them. He said, so what did she do? I said she gave me the cards and showed him the cards. And THEN he looks into the drawer and (very faked) gives a shocked look and says, I guess we do have them. -_-'

just FYI I just got three magic mirror cards yesterday as well as adventure land cards ( I did have the question card with me)
but i would like to know about the Animator Desks that are still available at DCA I did not know there was any vmk stuff at DCA

That could be the case but the reason they stopped giving out the quest pamhlets was because they knew they were getting low on cards. According to a couple of different CMs they are definitely out of cards. Of course they could always find some stashed away someplace.
