VMK, Disney down

It won't accept my password either. I'm going to try to login to another Disney site and see if my member id is working or if the problem is more widespread. And yes, I did try your direct link, light!

ETA - logged in fine at disneyshopping.com, so it's not my member id or password.

ETA (again) - but doesn't want to work at Disney Vacation Club, so that's weird!

when i in vmk as the address i keeped getting the blue screen too, but i tryed typed in vmk on google and then i clicked on Disney's Virtual Magic Kingdom : Home. it brought me to home page of vmk so i logged on and i was in and there were other people on too but not many.

i have figured it out! I think. I was watching my local news to find out that Tropical Storm Ernesto started to build up strength as it makes it way to South Flordia. People are stocking up and preparing for the worst because of what happened in Katrina. Perhaps the Storm affects all of us on the East coast, and not the West?
Right now the storm has just passed Cuba, and has winds oh 50 mph. I think that vmk may continue to not load (for some of us) for the next few days. And, those who are lucky enought to get on vmk, i believe there will be alot of ppl crashing.

It's not the storm, this was a large server problem. Most of the disney sites were effected and the servers aren't necessarily near Florida or California

Well, they were down, then up, now down again. Could this have anything to do with the surprise at 3 o'clock? Or a bad server problem?

I haven't been able to play the Buzz Lightyear game today. First it couldn't connect to Disneyland to check for updates. Now it gets past the updates but says it can't connect to Disneyland. If I try to connect again, it says my user name and password are invalid.

I tried to play the pirates game but it didn't give me a code, just XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX which changed to error.

I am able to log onto the Disney Shopping site.

Anyway, it sounds like there are some problems with some of the Disney sites. I wonder if it has anything to do with whatever yavn is supposed to show off today?

I got the XXX thing last night everytime I tried playing pirate game.

the google thing worked for me too. I was able to play for over an hour. I got disconnected on quest though, but that is nothing new. wonder what disney is up to?????

On the Pirates thing, I always get the X's. I just wait for a while, and eventually I get the code.
