VMK 'armchair' imagineering --- THEME poll!

Your theme idea:Epcot Flower Festival Month
Items you would release ( or dare I say re-release) to go with the theme:
1. a pin for every country represented at World Showcase (Mickey and friends in country costumes)
2. clothes/hats from countries, release cowboy and indian costumes for America, Mexican sobrero, etc, world showcase room design

Host and other events you might plan: Hosts could have trip around the world room rides, etc


Your theme idea: Star Wars Month (June, like the event at HS)

Items you would release ( or dare I say re-release) to go with the theme:SW room, stormtropper hats, darth hats, ewok coats, C3PO suit, the list is endless
Host and other events you might plan:trivia contest, space rides, etc

Kilts! don't forget kilts!
Chewbacca Costume! gaaaaaaaaaaar

I could totally see them doing this for next month. In fact, I was just at my local mall here in S. Florida and they had a whole Epcot Flower Festival display! So pretty!! I could see them doing it for a spring month. I could see different flowers pins next to the disney characters/epcot famous structures. Maybe kind of like the Fall pin series.

I really hope this is the theme next' moon'

1st Weekend:
Aladdin Costume for the guys
Jasmine Costume for the girls
Weekend Pin: VMK Character riding The Magic Carpets of Aladdin ride (not magic)

2nd Weekend:
Squawking Parrot in Cage Furniture
Smaller "Singing" Flowers Furniture
Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room Guest Room (inside the actual room, instead of on the beach. The lighting is much like that in the Briar Room)
Weekend Pin: José from Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room

3rd Weekend:
A New Explorer's Costume
Rerelease of Yellow Explorer's Costume (I don't have the Green costume personally, but I want something to remain rare in VMK)
Weekend Pin: VMK Character riding in a Jungle Cruise boat

4th Weekend:
Brown Fedora
Tan Shirt w/ Brown Jacket
Khaki Pants w/coiled whip
Brown Shoes
Temple of the Forbidden Eye Guest Room
Weekend Pin: VMK Character running away from a Boulder

Host and other events you might plan:
Updated Credit Payout in Jungle Cruise Game to be unveiled during the 3rd Weekend
Find Your Way out of the Temple of the Forbidden Eye! (Teleporter Game)
A Diamond in the Rough. (One of those "Rugs" Game, where you stand on a rug and then the host takes it off to reveal if you are a winner or a loser)
Take Safari Pictures with and Hula/Lily/Fin/Hurricane (Meet and Greet room)
Sing like the Birdies Sing (A Hodgepodge room where it can be whatever the Host wants: Meet and Greet, Quest, Game, Teleporter, whatever...)
Find the Crystal Skull! (Tuesday and Thursday Trivia Quests, theme would be history of Adventureland in DLR and WDW)

The 5th Weekend of May would then be my personal favorite: the return of the full length Pin Trading Weekend.

Are you sure you do not work for vmk and are on here in disguise?! This is so well though out and realized! I almost believe I am reading the actual newsletter!!


Wouldn't it be so neat if some of these ideas are seen on vmk? If so, I say we demand a creative fee!!

In my mind, this would be my ideal month. We get quite a deal of new items (but not too much), updated mini-games, Indiana Jones...

But though I'm slightly biased towards Disneyland, I made sure that it could apply to WDW as well.

WDW doesn't have IJA, but it does have the Aladdin Magic Carpets ride.
DLR doesn't have the Magic Carpets ride, but it does have IJA.

So, a fair trade-off. And it really isn't that bad, because DLR does have Aladdin stuff and WDW does have Indiana Jones stuff. So it's the perfect theme!

And, I made sure that the Indiana Jones weekend coincided with May 22-25. You know what that means.

VMK, I don't care if you "lift" my idea: I'd just be happy to have this month.

Items you would release ( or dare I say re-release) to go with the theme:
-A new camera--with new feature (think photoshop) that you can play around with the pics you take etc..
-Picture backdrops and more fun things you can stick your head through (like the wanted sign etc..)
-A doom buggy furniture chair, a la haunted mansion, and it is animated. When you sit in it, Ezra, Phineas or Gus appear. You can take a pic of it.
-Photo albums- redone so you can order how you do the pics etc...
-A short video feature would be fun!
-haha--Green Explorer with Camera!

Host and other events you might plan:
-Characters appear for photo taking.... Mickey, Minnie etc...
-Host pic/meet events with fun and unusual backgrounds we have not seen before.
-Photo scavenger hunt/quests

Rooms ~ A village with a castle in the backround

Clothing ~ Boys: Aladin outfit
Girls: Maybe those belly dancer outfits?

I can just see more boys wanting girl friends with that belly dancer outfit.
