VMK 'armchair' imagineering --- THEME poll!

I want to see everyone's creative VMK ideas....so sit down and complete this poll to participate in a little "armchair" imagineering!!

If you could design a new theme month (or strengthen one we have seen in the past), what would you come up with?

Your theme idea: Monorail Month


Items you would release ( or dare I say re-release) to go with the theme:

Pins: Each weekend there will be different monorail pins that cover each monorail re-design starting with the first Mark 1 train all the way up to the brand new red Monorail VII:

Costume: Monorail Operator Costume....the new futuristic ones that are about to come out with the new Monorail at Disneyland.

Rooms: A Monorail station...or inside a monorail car.

And.... a monorail track. Maybe not one we can ride on, but rather like a traditional toy train set that can go around your room.

Host and other events you might plan:
Probably some kind of cool party in the monorail room. However, make sure it is listed again in the short-cuts section on the main page! I would love to see a host pin be a Monorail Drivers License (like the ones you can get for real at the parks.)


I might add...that this could also be seen as part of a Disney Transportation Month Theme. If course they would probably re-release some of the Disney retro pins. Wouldn't it be fun to have an autopia couch?

my theme idea:candy month!
items i would release! candy land the game and you could earn credits playing it!, candy canes all colors, skittle chairs, gingerbread pieces, starburst teleporters, jolly rancher couches, dum dum lights, smartie garden, and the wonderful new room like dreams but full of all candy furniture and the prize to be able to feed your character! all candy in the world pins!i would also have costumes from ppl in game candy land!
host and other events i would plan:the host would be the brand new Host_Candy lol and the events would be kind of like dreams mnth bc they would randomly give away room and pins. i would also have a game like candy land and you would win prizes at random so!

Your theme idea: Toy Story Month in July to celebrate the opening of the new attraction!
Items you would release ( or dare I say re-release) to go with the theme: Buzz Lightyear Outfit, Woody Outfit, Bo Peep Outfit, Jessie Outfit, Andy's Room Guest Room, R.C Car Magic, Slinky Couch, Western Wagon (Crate Idea), Create-Your-Own Mr.Potato Head.
Host and other events you might plan: Escape from Sid's Backyard, Buzz's Space Ride-A-Thon,

Theme idea: NASCAR month
Rooms: NASCAR track or pit
Some items: Race car ride (like space mountain), pit items (gas can, tires, pit wall, jack, war wagon), race car carpet.
Costumes: NASCAR official, Completely groundbreaking racing suit that lets you change the colors of it to match your favorite driver
Host events: NASCAR ride a thon, race event, Talladega Teleporters!
Weekend pins: 1 weekend pin for each of the decades of NASCAR

Your theme idea: New Year's Month (random) LOL
Items you would release ( or dare I say re-release) to go with the theme:
If you were on at 12:00am on January 1, you would get a special pair of Happy New Ear's with the Year Written on them. I could also hyperize people by having unlisted parties that appear at random times.. so you might have a better chance at getting in!
Maybe even some sort of new year's outfit.. rerealesing the party hat!
Room: Party Room with banners and decorations galore!
Host and other events you might plan: New Year's Party, See If you know your years game, random events

Items you would release ( or dare I say re-release) to go with the theme: Lightning McQueen Magic, Sally Magic, Road Rugs, Stop Sign, Traffic Light Poster, Route 66 Poster, Radiator Springs Guest Room, Luigi's Tire stack, Gas Pump,
Host and other events you might plan:Cars Ride-A-Thon, Flo's Gas up and Go

Your theme idea: Cooking month!

Items you would release ( or dare I say re-release) to go with the theme:
Room: Kitchen with lots of cooking related furniture.
Costume: Chef Outfit of course! A chef hat with Mickey Ears!
Pins: Weekend pins that maybe revolved around cooking utensils.....or even something that revolves around "Ratatouille"
Other: I could see the bubbling cauldron maybe coming back out!

Host and other events you might plan:
This theme lends itself to some fun quests I am sure. Maybe the hosts can even reveal some fun classic Disney recipes that you can print out and cook for real.

Your theme idea: Animal Kingdom Month
Items you would release ( or dare I say re-release) to go with the theme:

• Simba Hat (designed by GPDOT -post #143 in Creative Clothes Thread)
• Animal Kingdom Room (Of Course)
• King Louie Thrones (from Jungle Book)
• Some other furniture to go with the Shield Table and Torches

Host and other events you might plan:

• Pin Trades where some Jungle Cruise pins could be traded of course
• Trivia Quests based on Lion King & Jungle Book Movies
• Increase in pay out from Jungle Cruise to 10% of score for the month not a day of the week
• Weekly pin in Emporium

Your theme idea: Thrill Month

Rooms: Coaster Station and Thrill park room

Items you would release ( or dare I say re-release) to go with the theme: A Pin & Outfit For Every One Of The Disney Coasters ( etc. Space Mountain Uniform / Swiss Outfit ( Bobselds ) ) And I would Also release models of the coaster cars that you could sit in! And New Coaster Tracks. Also I would release rideable thrill rides for your rooms.

Host and other events you might plan: Host Would Make Rides And Roller Coasters.

Hmm.. maybe this might be a stupid idea, maybe Aladin month?

Rooms ~ A village with a castle in the backround

Clothing ~ Boys: Aladin outfit
Girls: Maybe those belly dancer outfits?

Magic ~ Turn into jafars parrot or maybe the monkey ( forget their names )
or maybe even into that genie

Or maybe Beauty and the beast month

Rooms ~ A ballroom

Clothing ~ Re-release the prince and princess outfits

Magic ~ Maybe turn into the beast magic

Your theme idea: Winnie the Pooh Month
Items you would release ( or dare I say re-release) to go with the theme:
Clothes: Winnie the pooh hat, Tigger Hat, Heffalump hat etc
furniture: Jars of honey, Heffalump themed, umbrella's. Winnie the Pooh ride pieces (especially the bit where you bounce!) so you can ride in a honey pot
Pins: a winnie the pooh and friends set once a week with the host pin making up the 5th
Host and other events you might plan:
Winnie the Pooh and friends ride-a-thon
Winnie's honey tasting
Bounce with Tigger
A blustery day

1. a pin for every country represented at World Showcase (Mickey and friends in country costumes)
2. clothes/hats from countries, release cowboy and indian costumes for America, Mexican sobrero, etc, world showcase room design

Host and other events you might plan: Hosts could have trip around the world room rides, etc


Your theme idea: Star Wars Month (June, like the event at HS)

Clothing: Donald Duck hats, Donald Duck sailor shirts, Daisy dresses, Huey, Duey and Louie hats and shirts, Scrooge McDuck top hat and shirt
Pins: Duck Family Pins, Scrooge Pins
Furniture: Make Donald Duck versions of the Mickey items, such as Donald Duck TVs or Donand Duck Windows
Rooms: Donald Duck's Dock and Boat Room, Mathmagic Land Room, Scrooge's Money Bin Room

Host and other events you might plan: Lots of events, such as Donald Duck Club events, Raid Scrooge's Money Bin, Anything with Professor VonDrake, Mathmagic, etc.
