I wasn't expecting much, but DD wanted to watch Justin Bieber - so I said we could watch for a little while. They're awful!!


Chelsea Handler is horrible. I think she's trying to be funny, but you can hear a pin drop with every joke. I hear Crickets.


Usher, (normally I love Usher) but he didn't even attempt to lip sync. His lips weren't even moving, yet sound was coming out


Eminem didn't even stick around long enough to accept an award. Geez, I don't blame him. I would've left 1/2 hr ago too!

I caught that lip sync with Usher but he sure knows how to dance, i'm flipping back and forth between the football game. Chelsea Handler isn't doing well, which is sort of a shame but this show is trying to cater to too many different ages, and no, she's not funny. That Nick Cannon joke was like huh? He's over 30 years old I think and isn't short or small?

I am watching with my 9 year old daughter because she wanted to see The Bieb ( my nickname for him ). I don't know who 90% of these people are. No one can sing anymore. LOL I am getting old complaining about the racket

P.S. WTH is with the name Nikki Manage. Am I the only one who thought it was a play on menage a trois?

Now, I am usually pretty easygoing and it takes a LOT to offend me but I thought Chelseas joke went waaay too far when she wanted a ride home on some guys face

The song that Taylor Swift sang was really pretty. Gave me cold chills. Never heard of Nicki Minaj til now, but she sure as heck has a booty! Good grief

Yes everything that comes out of her mouth...

I watched with my kids last year and it was not this bad. That is too bad because I am sure a lot of kids stayed up to watch.

My dd said hidden mickey too right off the bat.

I love her show too, and usually she has no problem with off the cuff stuff. She must have turned down any writers help.

No, Chelsea is bombing and I am surprised because I like her show too. Oh well! Yes, that Dj with the Mickey head is totally giving me hidden mickey moments. Other than that I am enjoying the show. As Hillbeans mentioned, Usher may have been lip synching but that boy can MOVE. I'll take it!

This is almost painful watching Chelsea. She is out of her element and she, along with everyone in the audience knows it.
I have to say it was hilarious that Jane Lynch pronounced Ke$ha's name wrong. She is such a skank and Jane Lynch is so talented.

Lady Gaga is so interesting to me, and I love her music - so I've enjoyed her outfits and speeches.

Drake --> Jimmy Brooks from Degrassi. I can't get past that.

basically the only good parts were Florence's performance, Robyn performing as they went to break after Paramore and Danger Mouse being the DJ.We didn't even pay attention this year much cause of all the bad.We only watched really well the past 2 years because of Russell Brand; figured Chelsea would bomb as MTV definitely isn't her market...but I like her.

I didn't watch the awards, but I tuned in the preshow just to see what my girl Katy was wearing. She was sooooo pretty! I love her hair and her eyes.

I saw that California Gurls was up for best female video and best pop video. I read that she lost the female award to that horrid Gaga woman. I hope Katy won for best pop video.
