Vitamins?

Hi. I was wandering what type of vitamins yous take, that you swear that they work for what you are taking them for?(understand?)
It must be the winter blahs. colder them warmer. But I want to start to lose weight for our March Disney then DD is getting married in Aug. Just feel better and ???????:woohoo:
 
I take a multi-vitamin, vit D3, and Omega 3. I have MS. I can tell a difference in how I feel when I take them like I am supposed to. HTH

Also, I am going to lose weight. I am joining the gym. I feel sooo much better when I work out. Helps my MS also.
 
I take a multi-vitamin, extra C, Omega 3, Flaxseed Oil, and Krill Oil. My joints feel better when I'm taking the Omega 3's regularly as opposed to not. DH takes the same vitamins I do. The kids take a multi and an extra C. Sometimes we take an extra B complex.

Although someone recently told me that there were optimum times to take vitamins vs. minerals. Something like one was better in the morning and the other was better at night. Can't remember and have been meaning to research this.
 
I simply take a daily multi and also a fish oil capsule.
I seem to feel pretty darn good!:woohoo:
 

I'm a big fan of Emergen-C. I start the day with two packets mixed with water and use it to take my garlic tablet, lisinopril and claritin.
 
Are extra vitamins really worth it if you eat a well balanced diet?

My GP and my OB/GYN thought it was good that I took a multivitamin [and now extra folic acid/B-complex] and a calcium-D supplement even though I eat a balanced diet with plenty of fruit/veggies. :confused3
 
GNC--Ulta Mega Woman. Mainly because I like the name--I sound like I take a superhero vitamin. no really---I stopped taking them for about a month, and could tell.

I also take extra calcium, when I remember it.
 
I take a multivitamin, vit C, fish oil, flaxseed oil, black cohosh, red clover, 2 magnesium, 2 Caltrate! I break this up into 2 doses. One at breakfast and one at lunch. I always take my vitamins after a meal.

Later in the day I make a shake = 8oz of cranberry juice, a scoop of soy, 1 tsp brewer's yeast and 1 tsp ground flax all in my blender!!!

I was diagnosed one year ago with "osteopenia in my hips" and bulked up on my calcium along with proper eating and had the bone density again early Dec and NO OSTEOPENIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LADIES, please get enough calcium in your diet either through your meals or with the addition of calcium tablets. ::yes::
 
I take GNC Women's Ultra Mega Multivitamins and fish oil...when I remember to take the fish oil.

Was doing Weight Watchers after Thanksgiving (Core Plan) and have to say that I hadn't felt that good in a long time. Fell off the bandwagon and now feeling blah and lazy again. Time to get back on it. Highly recommend it...not even for losing weight. But because you eat so many fruits and veggies, you just feel better.
