visting WDW from 1/1 - 1/4

Do they have the christmas stuff up still? I love disney at christmas time but we couldnt get reservations at Shade of Green until the 1st of January. Do they do anything special on New Years Day?

Does Shades of Green still offer you another hotel with a discount if they are booked when you'd like to go? I think the Christmas decorations stay up until at least Jan. 6th.

The Christmas decorations will be up for a while past the 1st of January. I go on the 1st-whenever every January. It's wonderful and you will still get to enjoy the holiday things there.

Yes they do as far as I know. We had friends who were going to stay there but they were booked up and so they put them in the contemporary resort for the same price! When we were going to go for our honeymoon they didnt have any rooms so we were going to stay at the Carribean resort but when we finally booked our stay they had room so we never got to.

That's good, I thought they did. I just saw that you wanted to go at Christmas and they didn't have rooms available. Enjoy, it looks like everything will still be decorated for you.
