Vistana Spa's 2 BR question

For those who have stayed in the Spas, I have heard the rooms are large but can't find any floorplans on the net. Did you have doubles in the 2nd bedroom (sleeps 8) or twins (sleeps 6)? Does the master have a king or queen? Thanks!

Hi We own at Spas and have rented another. They have 2 double beds in the 2nd bedroom - sleeps 8 in total.
The master has a huge bed. Dont know what you call it in the states but in the UK you dont get anything as big. Must be 7' wide at least. My DM says you could get 3 in it easily.

The bed settee in the lounge is pretty comfy, my DS's argue over who gets it as they both prefer it to the double in the bedroom - why, I dont know.

We had 2 doubles in the second bedroom and a huge bed (probably king) in the master bedroom. Sofa bed was likely a queen. The Spas do sleep 8 I believe.

You will love it there. we had such a great time. It was very big. We had 8 in our room and had no problems. They have two full bathrooms too.

We are exchanging for a week at Vistana. We are a Saturday Check-in, so this means I cannot request the Spa section. Looks like they are wanting to put is in Courts. I am thinking this means that we would not have a nice master suite with a jacuzzi.

Cascades would be impossible to get. I hear that Springs could use remodeling. and the entire Spa's section is for Sunday Check-in.... Looks like Saturday Check-ins are really limited...

I have considered putting in a request for Palms. I am not really sure about Fountains?
Can anyone here make a recommendation on this?

I would really appreciate it!

I checked in to Spas in 2003 on a Saturday. I am absolutely certain. Maybe they just don't have a Spas unit available? This year I checked in on Sunday and got Cascades. But, I've checked into Lakes, Fountains, Fountains II and Spas on Saturdays in past years.

We are thinking of arriving on a Wednesday or Thursday, which areas are used those days. Also, does anyone know what the newest section is?

We check in on a Friday, I thought Spas had all 3 days as check in.

Maybe this will clear up some of the confusion... I am thinking that if you are a rental, (especially one checking in during the week...) then I imagine that you could be assigned anywhere in Vistana, based on available units...

I was told by the person at Diamond Lane check-in that the units color coded in blue were Saturday checkins. I think that for weekly Time-Share exchanges, they do go by the color coded plan.

This is primarily a weekly time share property. This would help expedite the turn-over, and save money, as they would have a crew of cleaning/maintenance personell on Friday - Sunday, in each color coded section. instead of all week long in all sections throughout the whole resort.

I know of a large time-share resort near where I live here that operates this way.


Hey Cindiu, How have you always gotten such nice sections! I need your pixiedust! As a Saturday Check-in, I am getting the distinct impression that we will get Courts. I hear that Courts have been renovated. But it would be nice to have a unit with a nice master suite with a jucuzzi !

Dunno how we've always gotten so lucky, must be "clean livin", LOL. Having said that, we rented our points to a friend a couple of years ago and they got Palms (which everyone says is awful) and they were thrilled. Guess it just depend on the unit?
