Vistana Pics - Cascades Premium 1BR

I've been meaning to post these for the longest time, and I'm finally getting around to it...I know how much I appreciate it when others have shared their pictures of resorts, especially if I've never been there and am considering a stay there. These are from July 2004.

Thanks for posting these pics! We wil be staying in a 1-bedroom unit in October. I am nervous that we will not have a nice building/section to stay in, even though most owners have told me that the 1-bedroom units are in the newer sections. Our check-in is on a Saturday. Perhaps I should simply request Cascades? I am really keeping my fingers crossed for a premium unit for the whirlpool tub. Thanks again!

now I am stresssing even more...I know what I will be missing if I get stuck in the Courts. I am at this point willing to lend them my first born to perform heavy labor (lol) just so I will be able to avoid the Courst. Please someone out there MUST have pix of the Courts. Is it so horrible that no one even wanted to take pictures?

Wish I could help you out...I'm sure it will be fine, though.

Maybe it's so breathtakingly lovely, no one wants to show it because it would get so crowded...???

We're heading down the 1st week of May. I'll post some pictures when we return. I'm a little aprehensive because of what I've read about the Courts section. I'm sure we'll have a great time either way.

DeeCeeSW - I'm hoping to get in the same section in July...we check in on a Sunday, last time was Friday check in.

Bella the Ball 360 - I sure someone here has pics of the Courts section. This was our 1st stay at the Vistana, I thought everything I saw of it looked good and we are happy enough there to be going back again this summer. Hopefully you'll be able to get some more reassurance before you go. I have to say, some people are incredibly difficult to please and would have something negative to say about any place...

Thanks - we are going for the first time in May - those pictures were great! Now...... they did tell me when I did the diamond check in that the Cascades were full, did you say someone has pictures of the court section???

The Cascades pics were great. You can see from the pics how the living room/dining area is smaller than the other sections. Even though the decor is really lovely, I would miss that extra room. Looks like you were in a top floor too because I can see the skylight.

The Cascades pics were great. You can see from the pics how the living room/dining area is smaller than the other sections. Even though the decor is really lovely, I would miss that extra room. Looks like you were in a top floor too because I can see the skylight.

Yes, I was on the top floor. I believe the only sections with 1BR units are the newer Cascades and Lakes...this is a 1BR, definately smaller than the 2brs, but it met our needs as a youngish family of four quite nicely.

Yup, this is correct. I think the 1BR's are a nice option for those simply not requiring all the space of a 2 bedroom.

According to the resort map and the colors, etc., my Saturday check-in means that I will most likely be put in Lakes, not Cascades for my 1-bedroom unit. I am slightly upset by this, as Lakes does not have the "premium 1-bedroom" that was shown here (with the whirlpool tub). However, the Lakes 1-bedroom is larger than the standard Cascades 1-bedroom. Do you think I should request Cascades anyway? (Forgive the food shots, I am keeping them on for another thread).

Am I the only one who HATES to have the bathtub in the bedroom? Maybe I'm just old-fashioned, but I prefer my tubs in the bathroom where they belong! A little privacy is a nice thing. I wind up locking the family out of the bedroom while I bathe, which gives them one less TV to watch.

I prefer the Fountains section of Vistana, partially for this reason. Also, the rooms are a bit bigger, I believe.

You must have been in the Fountains One then, because the Fountains Two has the jacuzzi in the master bedroom. I like relaxing in the jacuzzi and watching TV or a movie with my pina colada , so I prefer the tub in the bedroom.

Are there any 1-bedroom units in the Fountains? I thought I only had a choice between Lakes and Cascades.
