Vistana or HGVC at Sea World

I have the choice between these 2 resorts through RCI for the first week of June. I have stayed at HGVC and have read that Vistana has a ton of children's activities, we have a 9 year old. I have the option to get a 6/6 or an 8/6 with Vistana. Is there a way that I could chose one of these to get in a newer unit? This would be a Sunday check-in. Any info or suggestions would be great!

if you have stayed in HGVC in the last 4 years - you can't stay there. Unless you stayed in the SW one and the ID is the one showing.

Vistana is much closer to WDW. It is pretty nice. It can't compete with HGVC. but it is nice if you value it on its terms.

the only thing that are as nice as HGVC aren't in RCI - but II - Disney (DVC) and the Marriotts.

They are both nice resorts but the Hilton is nicer. Both had plenty of Children's activities.

6/6 is the older Falls section at Vistana. ALL other sections at Vistana (new and old) are 8/6. For a Sunday check-in you could get pretty much any section except the older Courts and Spas. I don't believe RCI gives you the option to guarentee a particular section, though you could always make your requests known through Vistana's Diamond Lane online form : https://www.svosecure.com/starwoodvo/diamond.jsp?resortID=5
Unfortunately, there are no guarantees with requests. The oldest section you could be placed in with an 8/6 option would be the Palms, followed by the Springs. You'd also have a shot at the Fountains I or II, Lakes and the newest Cascades.
