Does the Vistana confirm receipt of a Diamond Lane registration submittal by email or fax? If so how far in advance. I submitted one by email for a Skyauction stay for the first week of June 2 weeks ago. Thanks for any input regarding this.

They do supply an email receipt. But I've gotten them as late as 2-3 weeks later, so hoping yours will show up.

Mine was sent at least 3 weeks ago. Do you think I should resubmit the Diamond form?

For our last trip, I had never gotten any type of cofirmation and yet they had my info upon arrival.

Del,
I can totally see that happening.....I think Vistana is very sketchy with the confirmation emails. About 4 years ago the same thing happened to me. I never got a confirmation email and I went to the DL check-in desk, having printed out my request form, and they already had all the info. So to the OP, I don't think it's necessary that you resubmit, but I'm sure it won't hurt.

what is this? We will be at Vistana in May, and I have not ever heard of this!! :confused3

Here is the link to the Diamond Lane registration.

for the link, but it won't work. I just get a message that says "file not found". Can someone explain the diamond lane to me? is it a strwood thing? I am a preferred plus member, but I have never heard of it! Thanks! :goodvibes

The Diamond Lane used to be reserved for owners/renters only. You fill out the online form and can state any special requests you might have on this form. It also allows you the privlege of checking in at a special Diamond Lane line in the lobby. IOW, you can bypass some of the crowds and check-in is usually quicker/smoother. The DL line is to the far left when you enter the lobby. I'm not sure if this is a Starwood thing ? I'm thinking not, because the DL existed at Vistana before Starwood took over (when it used to be open only to owners). But now, anyone can use it.
Hope this helps !

Yes Vinny...IF you are checking in as a "renter". If you are a timeshare exchanger or owner you can only check-in on a Fri/Sat/Sun.
